Opus ignotum – základní informace
Mezinárodní soutěž skladeb pro pěvecké sbory
Skladatelská soutěž je rozdělena do dvou částí. Každý lichý rok proběhne uzávěrka soutěže dětských sborů a každý sudý rok uzávěrka soutěže sborů středoškolských a dospělých. Propozice pro ročník 2026–2027 naleznete zde.
Pořadatelé si kladou za cíl podpořit vznik nových děl, kompozičně výrazných a přitom interpretačně dostupných, jež by se mohla stát repertoárovým přínosem pro neprofesionální pěvecké soubory. Soutěžní skladby hodnotí odborná porota složená z významných českých skladatelských a sbormistrovských osobností.

Skladby pro dětské sbory posílejte e-mailem na adresu opusignotum@nipos.cz nejpozději do 30. dubna 2027.
Vítězné skladby budou vydány v rámci NIK a budou nabídnuty k provedení v rámci některého z celostátních sborových festivalů v následujícím roce.
Autoři vítězných skladeb získají na základě uzavření licenční smlouvy s NIK symbolickou finanční odměnu.

International Composition Competition for Choirs
The composition competition Opus ignotum is divided into two parts. Every odd year is the deadline for the children’s choirs compositions and every even year is the deadline for the youth and adult choirs compositions. Terms and conditions for the year 2026–2027 can be found here.
The organizers aim to initiate the creation of new choral pieces, which would be compositionally distinctive, but at the same time interpretationally feasible, and could enrich the repertoire of non-professional choirs. The compositions are evaluated by an expert jury composed of important Czech composers and choirmasters.
Compositions for youth and adult choirs should be sent by e-mail (address: opusignotum@nipos.cz) till 30th April 2026.
Compositions for children’s choirs should be sent by e-mail (address: opusignotum@nipos.cz) till 30th April 2027.
The winning compositions will be published by NIK and may be performed as part of one of the national choral festivals in the following year.
The authors of the winning compositions will receive a symbolic financial reward on the basis of concluding a license agreement with NIK.
