MgA. Grażyna Wilk Biernot vystudovala sólový zpěv na Institutu pro umělecká studia Ostravské univerzity u Drahomíry Míčkové. Své vzdělání dále doplnila studiem oboru Barokní a písňová interpretace na Hudební akademii Karola Lipińského ve Vratislavi v Polsku pod vedením Piotra Łykowského. Během studií externě spolupracovala s operním souborem Národního divadla moravskoslezského v Ostravě, byla členkou a sólistkou komorního sboru Adash, Przyjaźń. Od roku 2006 je členkou Pražského filharmonického sboru, jenž patří k nejvýznamnějším českým profesionálním vokálním tělesům a spolupracuje s prestižními orchestry u nás i ve světě. Je spoluzakladatelkou komorního sboru Martinů Voices, který působí na české i zahraniční scéně od roku 2010. Martinů Voices jsou pravidelnými hosty českých hudebních festivalů Pražské jaro, Dvořákova Praha, Struny podzimu, Svatováclavský hudební festival, Lípa Musica. Ve své koncertní činnosti se věnuje kantátám a písním především barokních mistrů a soudobé hudbě. Cennou zkušeností jsou jí koncerty s Filharmonií Hradec Králové, Karlovarským symfonickým orchestrem, Plzeňskou filharmonií a Dolnoslezskou filharmonií Jelenia Góra. Spolupracovala i s barokními soubory Collegium Vocale 1704 či The Czech Ensemble Baroque.
Grażyna Biernot studied solo singing at the Institute for artistic studies at University of Ostrava under the guidance of Drahomíra Míčková. She then continued her education studying Baroque and Song interpreting at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wroclaw, Poland, under the guidance of Piotor Łykowski. Already during her studies, she collaborated externally with the opera ensemble of the Moravian-Silesian National Theatre in Ostrava and was a member and soloist of the Adash chamber choir, Przyjaźń. Since 2006 she has been a member of the Prague Philharmonic Choir, which is one of the most renowned Czech professional vocal ensembles and collaborates with prestigious orchestras in the Czech Republic and in the world. Grażyna Biernot is also a co-founder of the Martinů Voices Chamber Choir, which has been active on the Czech and foreign music scene since 2010. Since its foundation, Martinů Voices is a regular guest of the Czech music festivals such as Prague Spring, Dvořák’s Prague, Strings of Autumn, St. Wenceslas Music Festival or Lípa Musica. In the concert sphere she focuses on cantatas and songs, especially of Baroque masters, and contemporary music. Among her other valuable experiences are concerts with the Hradec Králové Philharmonic, the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra, the Pilsen Philharmonic and the Lower Silesian Philharmonic Jelenia Góra. In her career, Grażyna had also collaborated with the baroque ensembles Collegium Vocale 1704 and The Czech Ensemble Baroque.
Očima pěvce – mezi sólovou a sborovou profesní kariérou
Zpěv patří mezi základní způsob mého vyjadřování, je od nepaměti abstraktním vyjádřením emoce, lidové, umělecké i spirituální tradice. Ať už se profesionální pěvec uplatňuje v sólové praxi, nebo je jeho těžištěm komorní či ansámblové zpívání či práce ve velkém sborovém tělese, vždy musí obstát jako dobrý hudební nástroj. Své směřování pak dále rozvíjí a poznává konkrétní problematiku již specifického oboru. Jak se mohou tyto tři přístupy vhodně doplňovat?
Through the eyes of a singer – between solo and choral career
Singing is one of the most fundamental modes of expression, an abstract expression of emotion, and of folk, artistic, and spiritual traditions since time immemorial. Whether a professional singer pursues a solo career, or whether his or her focus is chamber or ensemble singing or working in a large choral ensemble, he or she must always prove him- or herself to be a good musical instrument. He/she then further develops his/her direction and learns about the specific issues of an already specific field. How can these three approaches suitably complement one another?
